Of course, the defense was better last year with Defensive player of the year Connor Vanouver. Now that his shot blocking and ability to slow down the points in the paint is gone, how will the defense look this year? Just for fun and discussion. Defense wins championships! If he can slow down some of the talented guards in the league (Mayo especially) then ORU will be in business. The big question is who will step up to defend the paint? Even though they are young/experienced, Smith and Jones are some big dudes that should be able to pound inside with the SDSU or NDSU bigs.
