Marquette in final at Great Alaska Shootout

ANCHORAGE, Alaska ?Dominic James scored a team-high 15 points Friday night as Marquette defeated Oral Roberts 73-70 in the semifinals of the Great Alaska Shootout.

The 2005 graduate of Richmond High School also made eight assists and three rebounds.

Marquette is 3-1 and Oral Roberts 1-2.

The Golden Eagles advance to tonight?s championship game against either Monmouth or South Carolina. The result was not available at press time.

The game will be broadcast live on WKBV-AM 1490 in Richmond.

Tonight?s third-place game will be televised at 7:30 p.m. and the final at 10:30 on ESPN2.

Marquette won the title in 2001, the last time it played in the event.

I'll answer my on question after checking the ESPN2 schedule. They must have meant, but didn't say, ESPN360 tonight.

Well, I could have watched your game last night, but instead I traveled up to Macomb to see the Hoosiers cream the Leathernecks :wink:

IU looks MONSTER good this year.
