I'm disappointed but still in a pretty good mood because THE TEXAS RANGERS ARE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!! It is so nice to have at least one professional franchise in north Texas that has an intelligent and responsible owner, a wise general manager, a championship caliber coach and a talented roster. TheEagleman expected to have to take his lumps after last Sunday....49ers are clearly the best in the NFL right now and proved it....it was a humbling experience.....gotta fix things and quickly but I fear our defense woes can't be repaired overnight....it's a problem unless Eagles can put the heat on Dak....and our OC seems to forget about the run for long periods of time....if Hurts throws the ball over 40 times then Eagles won't win....Parsons will have a field day.....need to pound it vs. Dallas.....Eagles have been fortunate to win a few games this year and they are going to have to play their best game to have a chance to win this Sunday or the NFC East will be up for grabs in the final four weeks.....enjoy the game, Gripper! theeagleman5 Posted December 11, 2023 Share Posted December 11, 2023 Painful night for sure for TheEagleman.....Defense non existent allowing Dallas to score on 7 of 9 possessions and the offense fumbling 3 times in Cowboys' territory including 2 in the red zone all by our star players....that was 21 potential points given away in a 20 point loss.....can't happen.....Dallas is clearly the better team right now and Eagles have a lot of things to fix on both sides of the ball....not sure it's fixable this late in the season.....but still four games to play and perhaps there will be a rubber match in January....congrats on your victory last night....you guys have a phenomenal kicker and a defense that knows how to punch the ball out along with a good QB and some playmakers at WR....and also an owner who knows how to consume a lot of gin and tonics.....lots of football still to be played..... Hurts had to play sick, but they couldn't overcome a mediocre Seattle team with their #2 QB. Hurts has been a turnover machine this season. theeagleman5 Posted January 1 Share Posted January 1 Yeah it was painful sitting at Lincoln Financial Field yesterday with my daughter and oldest grandson...about as bad as it gets....but good to have some time with them and we will laugh about it in years to come.
