Bears (1-2) bus in for an afternoon game vs the Golden Eagles (4-0)....looks like a nice day for baseball....

Bears losses were to a much better team (Cal-State Poly in California) than NIU.  This will give us a good indication of where we are as a team before meeting up against a very good Texas State team this weekend in San Marcos.

I guess the big question today is.....will TexasGrip try to sneak in a cooler of Coors to help with  his gameday experience???.....

So why is the game not underway?  Says start time is 4:30CST now...it ain't raining in Tulsa........

I guess it would have been better if i had the right day....TheEagleman hasn't even cracked open a cold one yet......

Absolutely not! The game is tomorrow.

(And the last time I drank Coors was the first and only time I drank Coors - late 1980s. I'm quite sure I didn't finish it. #terrible)

It's a wet morning in Tulsa, but the rain is supposed to finish in the next hour or so. Hopefully the wind coming behind the rain will dry up JLJ a bit before first pitch.

Over indulgence does kill the brain cells but not a couple brews or cocktails here and there....TheEagleman actually thinks that being judgmental along with  bitterness and unforgiveness are a lot worse for the soul....so take note of that too,  kids.....looks like a nice afternoon in Tulsa for some baseball at JLJ as ORU will take on the Missouri State Bears......

Beautiful afternoon following morning rain, but the wind is howling from right field foul pole to left field foul pole.

That creates in incredible wind tunnel at JL Johnson Stadium - I put the over/under on total home runs for both teams today at six.

Just as I typed that, Missouri State's lead-off batter homers to left in the top of the first...bet the "over".

At this rate, MSU will cover the 6-homer total themselves...

MSU with a 3-run homer to left center in the top of the 2nd to lead 5-0 (I hate being right, but I've seen weather like this at JLJ for 45 years).

Hopefully, ORU can take advantage as well of that left field jet stream today.

Meanwhile, I gotta run some errands...
