Probably the right move, but still wonder why we retain two head coaches in sports that haven't won a conference title in over a decade? Both of which are sports at ORU that have had some amazing tradition.

Has anyone heard any rumors about potential head coaches? It's been a couple of months.

Not to pile on but in 2 seasons his record in the Summit was 3-29 and his overall record was 7-50.  Yes, it was time for a change.

There is a lot of high school volleyball talent in Oklahoma and Texas.  Even without a big recruiting budget a good coach should be able to put a talented roster together to compete in the Summit League without having to go the international route.

There is a lot of NIL money in the volleyball market.  Outside of WBB, it is the #2 women's sport that NIL is spent on.

Gone are the days of an Elite 8 appearance.  Only winning the SL post-season tournament will get ORU a look inside the NCAA tournament.

Agree that on paper both he and his sister (Annika) who he is bringing as an assistant coach, look very impressive.  His sister by the way was an All American at Nebraska and led her team to 2 NCAA D-I National Titles.  Our program (and I use that term loosely)has been in the tank for a long time so they will have their work cut out for them.  However, hopefully they can build a program and make us competitive/relevant again.  Good luck Coach and may God bless and direct your work at ORU.

I'm really hoping that he can turn this program around. ORU Volleyball was an outstanding program with a lot of pride when I was a student.
