Hall of Fame coach Bob Huggins has been talking about this for a while and he is probably not the only one. I heard through CBS Sports and Gary Parrish that the NCAA has a ten-year contract with CBS, TNT and TBS to show the tournament. So, he thinks that they will not change the tournament right away because of this tv contract but after that who knows. It will probably first happen in college football, where you have to be a SEC, Big Ten or Big 12 school to play in the college football playoffs. Then it will trickle down to college basketball or maybe even baseball. That is another reason why this year is so big for ORU basketball. They need to make another NCAA tournament run because you just never know how many chances the Eagles will get in the future.
