tmh8286
. . . the two pitchers in tonight's All-Star game both have Tulsa area connections. Brad Penney, pitching for the National League, is a Broken Arrow grad and is still active in the community. His adversary pitching for the American League, Kenny Rogers, played for the Tulsa Drillers at one time. Kind of makes it feel like a home town game - well, almost! Joining Broken Arrow native Brad Penny on the National League squad are Stillwater native and former Driller Matt Holliday, now with the Colorado Rockies. Representing the American League is former Drillers Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez and Kenny Rogers of Detroit and Michael Young of Texas, plus former OU hurler Mark Redman, now with Kansas City.
