tmh8286 Posted June 21, 2006 Share Posted June 21, 2006 Cal State Fullerton knocked Clemson out of the College World Series today, hitting a go-ahead single in the eighth inning to beat Clemson in the third longest nine inning game ever to be played in the CWS. They died as they lived, with late inning runs. Many I've talked to hoped that Clemson would go all the way, hoping to erase a little of the disappointment in losing to them, but it wasn't to be.
