I love his demeanor and decision-making on the field - and the confidence he places in the players. First Class!!! ORUTerry Posted June 10, 2006 Share Posted June 10, 2006 Rob Walton is awesome.... He is unflappable and that is reflected with his team. Does he ever get excited or lose his cool? I loved the shot showing him in the dugout sending signals to the catcher/pitcher. This team mirrors his confidence and preparation. It would be so nice to see them rewarded with a trip to Omaha. Some guys I work with (OSU grads) are very impressed with Walton and the job he has done at ORU. They also noticed how cerebral he is and his calm demeanor in coaching the team. Unfortunately, I think a lot of baseball people recognize the job Rob Walton has done at ORU.... and I suspect that will translate into job offers.
