Ark-PB comes to JLJ tomorrow night....Lions are 6-13 and just lost 2 of 3 at Texas Southern....should be a nice tune up for the Golden Eagles prior to the Omaha series this weekend at home.....GO BLUE!!!.....

Looks like ORU might score quite a few runs tonight....already 5-0 with the Good Guys still batting in the 2nd......

Arrived a little late - beautiful night in Tulsa with that famous Oklahoma wind blowing hard. 
ORU up 6-1 now, bottom 5th.

UPDATE: Bases clearing triple by McMurray. Now 9-1 still no outs in the 5th.

ORU run rules UAPB 11-1.....McMurray with 3 hits and 4 RBI.....Good Guys now 16-9 with three big games vs. Omaha this weekend........

One thing that shows the potential of this team is that they DOMINATE weaker opponents (as in last night's 11-1 run-rule win).  In quadrant 3/4 games this season, ORU is 14-3, with two of those losses occurring during the disappointing opening weekend.  And, in TEN of those 14 wins, the margin of victory has been FIVE or more runs.  This bodes very well for good success as the Eagles enter the heart of the Summit season.

And, yes, of course I would like to see ORU have an improved record against stronger opponents (currently 2-6 against quadrant 1).  There are still six games remaining against quadrant 1/2 opponents (NDSU3, OU2, MoState), and I would be very surprised if ORU doesn't win at LEAST half of those games.

In all, quality teams should DOMINATE the lower-tier teams, and COMPETE well against the top tier.  The Eagles have the first half of that equation down, and still have the opportunity to prove that they can fulfill the second part during the month of April.
