ORU at UALR

11-5 ORU plays at 10-4 Little Rock this afternoon.....Trojans swept Western Illinois last month and did the same to North Alabama this past weekend.....so this should be a good match up today....GO BLUE!!!

Cards are stacked against a bit in this one. We just used some of midweek arms yesterday while UALR hasn't played since Sunday. We're closing out a long 6 game road swing y while UALR  has barely been on the road yet this season. A win would be big!

It looks like we saved our Tuesday starter (Andrew Roach) for this one, so we've got a shot. Might need 5-6 innings out of him.

ORU up 11-2 in the 4th...Archambo with a slam in the first.....

ORU with 11 runs on 6 hits.....Little Rock pitchers have walked 8 thru 4 innings.....ouch!

Game called 18-3 by run rule after seven innings.  ORU with two grand slams and 13 walks, showing both patience and power at the plate - a deadly combination. Impressive road winning streak heading into the DBU series at JLJ this weekend.

ORU currently sitting at 30.....going 2-2 over the next 4 would be huge

That was hard to watch.  UALR pitchers couldn't find the strike zone with a map.  And when they could throw a strike we punished them for it.

Okla. State beat Dallas Baptist today 5-4.

These are a pivotal four games against DBU and OSU for ORU to get national recognition. If they can take 2 out of 3 against DBU this weekend and get a win against the Cowboys, they will start to show up in polls and could get this team on a huge roll. Looking forward these next few games. Go Eagles.
