I watched for familiar faces on TV last night, but didn't see any I knew. I must have missed the flag-waving! Good luck to the Golden Eagles tonight. I'm hoping for the completion of a regional sweep. Remember the first game OSU played against ORU at Drillers' Stadium, when Chad lumbered into the Cowboy catcher and the whole OSU team got their nickers in a wad? After last night they've got to be thinking that Chad Rothford is a Cowboy nightmare. ( Oops - this topic was already WELL covered in another thread) The bad news, Pokes, is that he's only a JUNIOR! That catcher wanted none of Chad tonight, he was way off the plate (in the 3rd I think...) for what could have been a close play if he were on the plate, but if he were on the plate, Chad would have trucked him!!! tmh8286 Posted June 5, 2006 Share Posted June 5, 2006 I saw that and thought the same thing, prez! Something about that OSU coach made me VERY glad to sweep them. May have had something to do with all the theatrics when we played them in Tulsa. Throwing his clipboard and running onto the field after the play at the plate involving Rothford was really over the top. On the other hand, in the Sunny Golloway days we couldn't buy a game with OSU, so I have to hand it to Anderson for scheduling us. Speaking of Golloway, I saw him interviewed last night on channel 6 (I think), and he made a point of congratulating ORU and Rob Walton, unsolicited.
