TrueBlue82
Really nice win for the guys last night. You can't expect to hit 50% from three every night, but it certainly worked out well in KC. Excellent start to the Summit season, especially with five of the first seven on the road. And, it could even get better... the five schools ORU has played on the road have a combined 8-5 record on their home court. This means that those teams have a very solid combined 7-1 record against all teams EXCEPT ORU on their home court. ORU has recorded the only conference win so far this season at WIU, KC and Saint Thomas, and one of two against USD. The four schools that ORU has not yet played have a combined 7-18 conference record, and a 5-9 record at home - so ORU will likely be favored in all of those remaining road games. The conference is looking like it will come down to this... Can ORU balance the season head-to-head with SDSU in Tulsa, and will either SDSU or ORU take a "bad" loss in a road game (SDSU's opportunity could come this week). And, if NDSU wants to remain as a contender, they may need to pull off an upset in Tulsa on Saturday to keep their aspirations alive. Should be an interesting week in the Summit! 2
