Two comments / concerns about TV coverage:

1) I'm guessing TV coverage decreased our fan support at the game. Perhaps some people who might have otherwise attended chose to stay at home since it was on TV.

2) Was told (see previous message) Sunday, 7 p.m. game would be on Ch 78 (no blame on ORU for providing information, yet as I was watching the 2 p.m. Sunday game (also supposed to be on 78) noticed it was on Ch 3. Couldn't find correct info on TV Guide so I called Cox Cable; after a LONG time holding, was told the game would be on 78, so I set my recorder. Was disappointed to return home, hoping to see the controversial call at second base, and finding 4 hours of Cox Cable saying they needed installers in OKC. Perhaps they need schedulers in Tulsa. lol

Would sure like to have the replay for the archives and to re-live key plays.

Well the controversial play at second was replayed about 20 times throughout the game. Basically what happened was the guy was slideing into second and he came a little wide but he did slide towards the bag so no real problem there. The only thing that could be construed as interference is that he threw his right arm up into the air while he was sliding into second which was right in the way of a throw to first. The announcers disagreed with umpires call. What the OSU guy did was probably interference (by the rulebook), but it is so seldomly called that it was controversial. If it had happened to ORU i'm sure that I would be mad as well, but hey its nice to see ORU get a break.

Also, did anyone else notice that the announcer kept saying Oral Roberts like he was saying Earl Roberts. Started to get a little annoying, but I think cox sports did a good job of covering the game even if they can't get the channels right.

I hope so. I think the game days and times are being announced tonight or tomorrow morning. The television folks will probably look at what they have then and decide what they will do.

Great find, Tex - and only 2 of the 24 games are on ESPNU - hopefully none of ours!

I doubt it. Clemson is the overall #1. No way they leave them out of the National TV Deal.
