Keenan Henderson Posted December 6, 2021 Share Posted December 6, 2021 Max will be great this year but can the rest of the team continue to improve. We had a post last season called "The Other Guys." Those other guys saved their best for last in the Summit League tournament, which helped fuel the March run. Hoping for another strong showing by the other guys. Ever since David upset Goliath and Jack felled the beanstalk Giant, the public (and subsequently, the media) has loved a little-guy-vs.-big-guy story, and this narrative gives them an irresistible three-for-one package: diminutive guy, at a small school, in a small conference, taking on relative giants in all three categories: bigger guys, bigger schools, bigger conference budgets, etc. Make Max 6'8", or keep him small but at a big school, and this story suddenly does not resonate quite so much...
