tmh8286 Posted May 8, 2006 Share Posted May 8, 2006 The Eagles got in two great games yesterday against CSU. Nick Jones pitched only the seventh no-hitter in school history in the second game. He faced only 21 batters in the usual seven inning second game. Congrats to the Golden Eagles, and especially to Nick, on a great outing yesterday. I didn't make it out to the ball field, but listened on the radio, and it was a great day of baseball. An interesting side-note: according to Jeff Haxton yesterday, three of the seven no-hitters have been pitched against Chicago State, and in three concurrent years - 2004, 2005, 2006.
