Keenan Henderson
ORU had many chances but finished 1-7 from the field with a couple of turnovers in crunch time/final minutes. That cost them the game. Still need to learn how to win those close games and build a winning culture. They shot the three and rebounded much better compared to the Missouri game. So some improvement from game to game. Max had a career high in points, rebounds, and assists and Kevin with 27 points and 7 rebounds. The other guys were up and down and DJ is still not playing many minutes. For ORU to be good this year, DJ Weaver will need to step up and be that star we know he can be. ORUIllini
Fouls were an issue, big disparity between the two teams, way too many fouls by ORU and poor FT shooting tonight by ORU was costly. With a team that only has 8 players, wouldn't it make sense to keep working it inside, or keep driving to try and accumulate fouls on WSU? I do hope that they are just slowly working DJ back into the fold coming off the injury. I think he should be playing 20+ minutes a game.
