Stl VU Fan
According to the NCAA stats site, Chris Rouise ended up with the second highest game total for three-pointers in a game at 10. Josh Goodwin of Belmont is first with 10. http://web1.ncaa.org/stats/StatsSrv/rankings I think you meant to say 11 for Josh Goodwin. By the way, the url you posted doesn't help any, because of the way they did it. If you View Info on the page, it does give a referring URL, but natch, that still doesn't get it. It does get one step closer, but you still have to fill out the form, and it's slightly counter-intuitive. http://web1.ncaa.org/stats/StatsSrv/rankings?sportCode=MBB It figures that a Belmont guy would have 11, they have been particularly known for the 3. They rained 3s at the Hearns Center to beat Mizzou a year or two ago.

ReallyBigORUFan
So, Terry...is the quarter winding down and it's a slow day at the office or is someone (Dr. C.) feeding you these stats and you're just not providing the credits in your tagline at the bottom??? Guest EagleBackr
...I'm a little surprised Southern Utah wasn't ranked at all in the 3-Point FG % list. As late as mid-February, didn't they lead the country in that category?
praetorfenix86
Southern Utah is #1 in that category at 42.9% I guess Terry overlooked them.

ORUTerry
Sorry about missing Southern Utah.... I fixed it in the post above. Pretty interesting that the Mid-Con had three teams in the top 25 in three point field goal percentage. It's also interesting how high Valpo is ranked in several categories. I guess it shows that statistics can lie....
VUFreak
Keep in mind that those are all OFFENSIVE stats... We could outscore just about anybody we played, but we couldn't stop the St. Mark's fourth grade team... Put the defensive numbers there and you will see a different story... ORUTerry
Good point.... it is certainly interesting that Valpo could not match the intensity on defense that they had on offense.
