A tragic loss for the basketball world today with the passing of future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant in a helicopter accident along with 8 others including his 13 year old daughter....Kobe was a local HS legend here in the Philly area and TheEagleman was able to see him twice back when he played at Lower Merion....Black Mamba is arguably one of the top 10 players of all time and his talents and personality transcended the basketball court.....RIP Kobe.....prayers to his wife, 3 daughters and rest of his family....his Dad Joe (Jelly Bean) Bryant was also a local basketball hero playing with LaSalle University and the Sixers......😪

What an unbelievable tragedy. So many guys I played with tried to model their offensive games after his. He seemed to be an incredible father. Can't imagine how painful for his wife and daughters.

Terrible tragedy for this family that has lost a husband/father and daughter/sister. I hope they know the Lord and can cling to Him for comfort.
