ORUTerry Posted November 20, 2005 Share Posted November 20, 2005 At the end of the game.... when we were working for a last second shot, my son said that we should use Tutt as a decoy and have Michalec make the shot. That said, Tutt had a decent look and most times will make that shot. Not sure what to say about the coaching.... sure we could have substituted more - but we did make up a 13 point deficit in the 2nd half. And Sutton did not cause us to shoot so poorly. We didn't attack the zone as well as I would have liked, but it was the first game. As an arm chair quarterback, I would have applied full-court pressure a little more and rotated Meloy, Vealy (especially) and Fowlkes into the game in the second half. Sutton was working the refs but what are you going to do? A technical foul in a game that close could have tipped the game away from us. Or maybe pushed the refs to make some call.
