ORUalum
paraphrasing -- the schedule was pretty much set.....2 home games and 8 road games.....we will address that in future years
ORU82
WOW if that is so then we have 11 non-conference and 14 conference games for a total of only 25 games, which is less than what we usually have.

Old Titan
It's August 15th, and only three Summit League teams have announced their non-conference schedules. That's incredible. And, according to this website, apparently a national trend for other mid-majors: Mid-Major Non-Conference Schedule Tracker Should the teams who are still scrambling at this point just be pairing off with each other, like desperate loners at closing time in a singles bar? ORUalum
@ Minnesota Dec 21 Quote Two days later, Minnesota will host Drake on Monday, Dec. 11 in its final game before breaking for final exams. The Gophers return to the court on Thursday, Dec. 21, hosting Oral Roberts. Two more home games round out the non-conference schedule, as Minnesota welcomes Florida Atlantic on Saturday, Dec. 23 and Harvard one week later, Dec. 30. ORUParentLurker
Man, if we can win 70% of those road games the RPI should be nice.

ORU82
Okay, so our "unofficial" OOC schedule now looks like this: November 10 Avila University December 2 @ UALR November 13 @ Tulsa December 5 @ UNLV November 16 @ Oklahoma State December 8 Southern Nazarene November 20 Montana @ Malibu, California December 10 Missouri State November 21 Pepperdine/UCSB @ Malibu, California December 16 @ FGCU November 24 @ Penn State December 19 @ Arkansas November 27 Oakland University December 21 @ Minnesota November 29 @ Kansas State Obviously I do not like all of the "road" games. However, if you remove from the equation the issue of all those games being away from Mabee Center I think this is a very impressive schedule for a mid-major program. As stated above, if we can win some of those "road" games our RPI should really be enhanced. I know that is a very tall order but as our motto says, "Expect a Miracle". And finally, if all or even some of those "road" games are home/away games where those teams have to come to Mabee next year, all the better. Go Golden Eagles! oruvoice
Next year's home schedule could be Tulsa, UALR, Missouri State, & FGCU. Trying to see silver lining.
