As diehard ORU basketball fans, we?d all like to go to the Big D and watch the Golden Eagles take on the Memphis Tigers. But some of us just won?t be able to make the trip. The next best thing to being there? Sharing the moment with a room full of ORU fans on the ORU campus! That?s right. The ORU Alumni Association is hosting a Golden Eagles Watch Party on Friday, March 17, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the ORU cafeteria. (Game time is 1:50.) We?ll set up the big screens and cheer on Caleb, Ken, Larry, J.B., Mickey, and all the rest of the Eagles. For your convenience, concessions will be available for purchase, just like at a regular game. This event is open to all ORU alumni and their families (and guests). So, arrange to take time off from work and share in this landmark moment. Let?s face it--it?s been 22 years since some of you had to request time off for something like this! You?re due!
