EagleManiac Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/ct-city-series-game-story-spt-0726-20160725-story.html Amid major clubhouse drama, Tyler Saladino shines on the big stage last night. He hits a walk off single to push the White Sox past their intra-city rival and league leading Cubs. Good for Tyler.
theeagleman5 Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Great news about one of our own!....Saladino is the man!....Chris Sale did the Sox a favor by destroying those throwback uniforms....quite possibly the worst in the history of baseball unless you are Shoeless Joe Jackson.....
ORUTex Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 I'm watching the White Sox at Red Sox and Tyler is 2-for-2 so far tonight. Unfortunately he's still hitting in the low .200s but should keep getting chances on a rebuilding Chisox team.
ORUTex Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Tyler hit grand slams in two consecutive games Sunday and Monday - first in MLB since 2010, according to this article: https://www.mlb.com/news/tyler-saladino-hits-grand-slam-back-to-back-games
theeagleman5 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 That's amazing!....Wondering if ANY former ORU player has hit even one grand slam in the majors.....????....

theeagleman5 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Ah....Bob Zupcic....the pride of Fairless Hills, PA in Bucks County.....he is still a legend around this part of suburban Philadelphia....TheEagleman totally forgot about him.....according to Wikipedia he is managing a car dealership in South Carolina...... 1
