theeagleman5 Posted May 24, 2016 Share Posted May 24, 2016 Action gets underway tomorrow at noon with #2 Omaha taking on #3 IPFW...the Mastodons enter the tournament as the hottest team with 10 straight victories so that should be an interesting matchup....at night top seed ORU takes on #4 South Dakota State.....as usual, winning the first two games is huge since you move to the title game on Saturday....getting Friday off and saving wear and tear on pitching.....weather looks good for Wednesday but T-Storms are possible the rest of the week....any updates on if Whatley can go behind the plate for ORU???....we can use his bat.....GO BLUE!!!..... Good effort by Howe who gave us 5.1 decent innings...Now we take on one of the hottest teams in the country, IPFW tonight at 6pm CDT....the Mastadons coming up with a 6 spot in the 9th yesterday to steal the win over Omaha and get their 11th win in a row....TheEagleman guessing it will be Nick Wood vs. IPFW tonight....Omaha vs. SDSU in an elimination game this afternoon...... It would have been nice if Howe could have given you an inning or two more last night to save the bullpen a bit. SDSU starter out w/elbow issues in the 4th.
