BlueGold Posted September 13, 2014 Share Posted September 13, 2014 ORU loses to the host Cougars 25-19, 18-25, 21-25, 23-25 to finish 0-2 on day one of the Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup in Houston. Sara Pope led the Golden Eagles with 15 kills. Junior Jovana Poljasevic had 14. ORU had more kills (52-51) and hit better than Houston (.193 to .191) but committed 12 service errors (to UH's five) and was outblocked 17-10. The Golden Eagles are 5-5 on the season and will try to salvage a win in the tournament tomorrow morning against Louisiana at 9am CT. Go Eagles!!
