BlueGold Posted September 12, 2014 Share Posted September 12, 2014 The Golden Eagles fall 25-13, 23-25, 25-20, 25-27, 14-16 in their first match at the Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup in Houston today. ORU outhit, outblocked and outaced the Bearkats but still lost the match. All three set losses were by two points. Laura Milos led with 13 kills. McKenna Qualls had 11 and Sara Pope 10. Pope had five blocks. Freshman Shelby Cox had a nice match with seven kills and eight total blocks (one solo, seven assists). She hit .429. ORU is now 5-4 on the season. We play our second match of the day at 6pm CT tonight against the hosts, the Houston Cougars.
