theeagleman5 Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 Tough break for the ORU ladies at Houston Baptist today....we lead 2-1 when the game is stopped in the 22nd minute and then cancelled due to rain and field conditions....not sure if the will replay the game at all or pick it up from the stoppage point.....seems only fair..... BlueGold Posted September 8, 2014 Share Posted September 8, 2014 I live about 40 miles north of HBU and it wasn't fit for man, woman, dog, cat or duck to be out this afternoon. It was almost raining sideways, so I'm sure it was a wise decision to cancel the game. If the field looked anything like my backyard did, I'm sure it was a wet mess. It was called a 'no contest' so none of the stats count, per NCAA rules. Too bad for the ladies, the way it was going they might have scored a few more.
