Old Titan
Auburn's Sunny Golloway Under Internal Investigation (College Baseball Daily) Verbal abuse of players? Assistant coaches fired as scapegoats? Alienating his employer, win or lose? Seriously, does ANY of this really come as a surprise to those of us who know the guy? Bottom line: Sunny Golloway is a bully and a phony, everywhere he has coached for the past 20 years. What goes around, comes around... ORUJason
With all those issues, he has still been very successful, until this year, and it has finally caught up with him. It will be interesting to see where he goes from here. Maybe the minor leagues? Or at best an assistant position if he remains in college baseball? Would a small school that needs to make a splash take a chance on Sunny? Probably not.
ORUTerry
Was that article written by a 7th grader? Wow Any way - gotta think that Sunny cracked (more) under the pressure of a losing season.
theeagleman5
Sounds like the old Sunny....I guess a leopard doesn't really change his spots after all.....hard to believe he would get a job after this but then again....there is the old boys network..... I have given up waiting for the internet blog generation to learn how to write (Kyle Whelliston of "The Mid-Majority" standing in stark contrast). ORUalum
uh oh... "...rumors of taped conversations that show Golloway in a less than flattering light." I'm stunned. Stunned, I say. http://t.co/WsRitr6z0d— Jordan Esco (@Jordan_Esco) June 4, 2014 unfortunately the article is behind a paywall

Old Titan
Auburn AD Gives Golloway Vote of Confidence Reading between the lines with the Auburn AD: "I'm not going to admit this soon I made a terrible mistake hiring this guy, and I'm not going to pay his buyout, plus a hefty salary for his replacement, in a non-revenue sport." ORUalum
Bedlam... #NCState pitching coach Tom Holliday flew to #Auburn yesterday to meet w/ Sunny Golloway/#AU officials. Old Titan
Holy cow, what a match made in Hell. I put the over/under at when Tom Holliday punches Sunny in the mouth - during a game - at somewhere around May 1st.
