EaglesFan
The VIDEO of the Women's game today appears to be FREE on the Lamar website ... So we can watch this critically important game. It is "senior night" for Lamar, too. I'm watching the pregame right now. EaglesFan
At half time it's Lamar 33, ORU 32. This is a lot closer than the game in Tulsa! Lamar's shooting has not been good (24%), but they've had a ton of free throws. 3 Fouls for both Luper and Bigham at half. This is looking like a grinder-game. We're shooting only 38%. We won't get any breaks from the refs on the road in this game. Luper has 13 points at the half, plus 3 blocks, 3 Steals and 2 rebounds. Taylor Cooper has 8-points, Nobody in foul trouble for Lamar. This looks a lot like one of those games that goes down to who plays best in the last 3 or 4-minutes of the game.
ORUJason
The girls got squeezed by the refs with some no calls at McNeese. I hope the same doesn't happen in the 2nd half against Lamar.
theeagleman5
Kevi drills a 3-pointer to tie the game at 35-35.....still 16 minutes left to play.....and Luper has 16 pts to lead ORU....
EaglesFan
So many turnovers!!! It's making this game a lot more competitive than it should be. Our 3-point shooting has been incredible (9 of 15), yet we only lead 55-50 at the 4-minute media timeout...
theeagleman5
ORU hanging on at 60-55 with only just over a minute to play...Kevi with 21 and Cooper has 14.....this would be a really nice win for the GoldenEagles.....
theeagleman5
ORU gets a big win at Lamar.....62-55.....Kevi 21 and Cooper 16 lead the way.....this win should shut up OldTimer for the rest of the weekend.....

ORUJason
Leave those refs at home. Please don't invite them to Katy, TX.
Hoops Fan
That ref crew did nothing to help, for sure. I think that might be our best effort to win an ugly game. We overcame our own turnovers and didn't crack in the last two minutes when it got rough. Good job by our coaching staff to keep their heads up and focused on winning. We'll be ready to play come tournament time.
OldTimer
very nice gutsy performance!!! How are you going to continue to only play 7 deep? It has been this was most of the year!! Tired legs will catch up eventually!
Old Titan
How are you going to continue to only play 7 deep? It has been this was most of the year!! Tired legs will catch up eventually! Damning with faint praise, even in victory. Pathetic. Congrats to Misti and the girls - that's the sort of tough road game we USED to typically lose down the stretch. As former OSU football coach Pat Jones always says, "Defense travels to away games."
