Glasson finished his round by getting a birdie on 18 this morning shooting a 68....he has just begun round two and is 3 shots behind co-leaders Bernhard Langer, Wille Wood and Kenny Perry.....TheEagleman isn't positive but I think Wood played his college golf at OSU..... :nerd:

Yes....Willie Wood was an All-American at OSU back in the late 70's and makes his home in Edmond, OK......wouldn't it be great to have an ORU-OSU playoff on Sunday afternoon..... :nerd:

Bill shot a 69 today to finish at 7 under par tied for 7th place.....he is five strokes behind leader John Huston.....former OSU star Willie Wood is at -9 just ahead of Glasson.....if Bill can fire a good round tomorrow he has an excellent shot to get into the top five....or maybe even win if Huston falls apart.... :nerd:

2nd Round leader John Huston did indeed fall apart today but Bill Glasson was unable to take advantage as he faded out of the top 25 with a 2 over 74....but it was still a good day for the state of Oklahoma as former OSU star Willie Wood won on the first playoff hole over Michael Allen......Wood drained a 30 ft put on 18 to force the playoff and earn his first professional win since 1996.....congrats to Wille who plays a Oak Hill in Edmond......

Glasson is competing in the Boeing Classic in the state of Washington this weekend....he shot an even par 72 in round one and is well back of leader Mark Calcavecchia who shot 7 under....Bill will need a big round on Saturday if he hopes to get in contention for a top 10 finish out west.....

Bill Glasson apparently made the cut, although according to golf.com only 3 golfers missed the cut... He is tied for 30th at -1 through 8 holes.

Glasson shot a 1 under 71 yesterday to leave himself eight strokes behind leader Tom Jenkins and six behind OSU's Willie Wood for 2nd place....Bill will need a hot round today to have any shot at getting into the Top 25... :nerd:

Bill has started out hot in today's final round and is already 2 under par for the first 6 holes....this leaves him 3 under for the tournament and six behind the leader...... :nerd:

Bill Glasson shot a 6 under 66 yesterday in Hawaii to put himself in a tie for 2nd place just one stroke behind leader Pete Senior.....maybe this is the week that the ex-ORU star gets his first Champions Tour victory?..... :nerd:

Glasson follows up his first round 66 with a stunning 7 under 65 today to take a commanding four stroke lead over Mark McNulty and Peter Senior at the Champions Tournament in Hawaii......Bill is just 18 holes solid holes away from his first professional victory since the late 1990's and first on the senior tour.....all of the ORU faithful should keep Bill Glasson in our prayers tonight because Corey Pavin and Willie Wood are also lurking close behind within 5 stokes.....this would be a huge win for the former ORU star......

Great news for Bill. After all the injuries he has dealt with during his career it would be really nice to see him pull out a solid victory.
