theeagleman5 Posted June 21, 2012 Share Posted June 21, 2012 Geez....it looks like the Hogs of Arkansas have a great shot to make the CWS championship round next week (best of 3)....all they have to do is beat the winner of tonight's Florida-Kent. St. game once and they will have two tries to do it if needed....then they would play the winner of Arizona-FSU in the finals.....have the Razorbacks ever won the CWS?.... Carolina eliminates Kent State this afternoon and Arizona ends the hopes of Florida State tonight......the Gamecocks and Razorbacks are battling right now with SC leading 2-0 in the 5th.....if Arkansas can come from behind they will send the Cocks packing and set up a final with Arizona starting Sunday.....an SC win will force a rematch tomorrow night..... Carolina last night but lead 2-0 tonight in the rematch and batting in the 5th.....a few innings more and they will be headed to the finals to play Arizona in the best of 3 series.....Hogs looking good and getting outstanding pitching tonight.... Carolina comes back and eliminates Arkansas last night 3-2.......so its the Gamecocks vs. Arizona in the finals beginning Sunday night..... They definitely looked great during the series and were deserving. Would be great if we could stay healthy and have an opportunity to get to Omaha with our bunch of guys next year.
