Rod Pearson is likely playing the best basketball of his college career.

That's good because the Oral Roberts senior point guard from Kansas City could face his greatest challenge Saturday night.

South Dakota State visits for a Summit League battle of unbeatens, and ORU head coach Scott Sutton said Pearson will be guarding one of the league's premier players.

I don't think Sutton is just using "coach speak" when talking about Wolters.

Our league has a lot of fire power this season. I don't remember the Summit ever having so many scorers in the top 50.
