ORUalum
maybe if a new thread is started the exhibition thread will die... SHAWNEE TRIO SIGNS The city of Tulsa had a big day in Shawnee on Wednesday. Two Shawnee girls basketball players, Kelsee Grovey and Caitlin Ramirez, signed letters of intent with Tulsa, while teammate Taylor Cooper signed with Oral Roberts. Grovey and Ramirez helped Shawnee to its first-ever Class 5A state tournament appearance in girls basketball last season. Cooper, a Class 3A All-State selection by The Oklahoman last year, was the leading scorer for Bethel, which won the Class 3A state title. She and younger sister McKenzie Cooper moved to Shawnee in the summer. ORUJason
She was recruited by OSU and Texas Tech, averaged over 18 points a game on a state championship team and was the MVP of the 3A state tournament. Impressive signing by Coach Finkbeiner and staff! Her parents went to OBU so they are apparently comfortable with Christian private schools as well. Old Titan
Sounds like Shawnee's going to be loaded this season - those three girls can start the ORU-TU trash-talk a season early!

Old Titan
That could end up being the best - and most important - "signing" that Misti ever makes. Danny Manning could take lessons from her on how to retain players during change...

Holtontulsa
I went with Finkbeiner a few a times to watch her play, she is really good. Has a pure shot!
