ORUTerry
Well, I 'missed' (slept through) last night' 4.8 earthquake but felt tonight's 5.2 quake. It shook the whole house for about 20 seconds. Gotta love Oklahoma... Tornadoes, ice storms, heat waves, droughts, floods - and now earthquakes. What is next - volcanoes?
Bogus Smith
That "shake" was pretty impressive. Never thought I would feel one here in Oklahoma. I know that they happen, but they are usually pretty mild (2.x - 3.x in magnitude). They say that the one tonight measured 5.6, which would make it the biggest earthquake in this part of the country (the previous record was 5.5 in 1952). I hope that the property damage isn't significant once we can assess the homes after the sun rises in the morning.
