Bogus Smith
Another good road win for the volleyball team. Looking forward to their continuing this success into the League tournament. ORU Survives South Dakota Scare, 3-2 VERMILLION, S.D. - Oral Roberts University rallied for victory again on Sunday and avenged their only Summit League loss to date with a 3-2 victory over the University of South Dakota. ORU (17-4, 10-1 Summit League) was down two sets to one and 14-8 in the fourth set before seizing control of the game by taking 20 of the match’s next 21 points. The victory is the tenth in a row for Sheera Sirola’s team, giving the team their first ten-match winning streak since the 2006 season. The win is especially sweet after USD (11-12, 5-6 Summit League) handed ORU their only conference loss so far this season with a 3-2 win on Sept. 15 in Tulsa. http://www.orugoldeneagles.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=17000&ATCLID=205317643
theeagleman5
These girls have a lot of character....and they are road warriors, too....it certainly looks like they have an excellent shot at taking the Summit title if they can beat IPFW (on the road) and NDSU at home....
