Oakland up by 4 over (16)illinois at the half. horrible shooting by both teams. would be a great signature win if they can pull off the upset.

Sorry but they didn't....the Illini rolled in the 2nd half to a double digit win.....the Grizz are in for a rough stretch here....but it should toughen them up for the Summit schedule....that being said....TheEagleman still thinks that ORU will take them at Mabee on 12/30....it's time to start turning the tables on Kampe's boys.... ;)

So Oakland and Illinois played the first 7 minutes last night with a women's basketball....not a problem because TheEagleman always has thought that Benson played like a girl.... :P

Embarrassing mistake! Officials last night: Mike Sanzere, Eric Curry, Ray Perone

While only one inch in circumfrence smaller, the difference in look and feel of a women's ball is so great that I'm amazed that the players and coaches weren't having a fit! I'd sure like to know the rest of the story on that one!

The Big Ten Network will be replaying the Oakland/IL game tonight, prior to the live IUPUI/Ohio State game. 4 straight hours of Summit League basketball on the Big Ten Network!

You'd think that it would particularly effect the three ball. That would certainly explain the Illini getting off to such a poor start against Oakland.

that is just crazy. it sounds like something you would expect to happen at a summit league school not the big 10. i wonder if any type of a protest could be filed by oakland.

IUPUI leads #2 Ohio State by 6 early in the 2nd half.....geez!....could be the biggest upset in Summit history...bigger than the ORU win at KU..... :geek:

The Buckeyes are wearing down the Jags....OSU up 59-54 with 5 minutes left....looks like the #2 team in the country is too much tonight...but no matter what, IUPUI has done the Summit League proud!.... ;)

#2 Ohio State outlasts IUPUI 75-64.....Sullinger drops 40 for OSU....the Jags go to the line only 5 times in the entire game while the Buckeyes get 26 FT attempts......Kelly Self reffing that one?.....still, a great effort for 35 minutes by the Jags.....the Summit was not embarassed tonight!.....

MSU 58 Oakland 54 with 7 minutes left....looks like the Grizz have the same problem we do...they are 6-12 from the FT line today but still hanging in this game....

It's going to come down to the wire. Oakland is not folding. Still playing them close. Anything can happen. Eagleman, do have a visual feed for this one. I'm just observing the stats now.
