theeagleman5 Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 Tough night for Jeremy tonight at Citi Field in NYC.....TheEagleman had mixed emotions (sort of) as he watched the Phillies rough up Hefner for 8 runs in 2+ innings in a 13-8 Philadelphia victory.....Hef was 4-6 with a 3.33 ERA coming into the game but his ERA had been a gaudy 1.71 over the past month....those numbers won't be looking so good in the stats tomorrow..... theeagleman5 Posted August 10, 2013 Share Posted August 10, 2013 Jeremy hasn't pitched well since the All Star Break....he's 0-2 with an ERA over 5.50.....overall for the season Hefner is 4-8 and the ERA is at 4.34....his WHIP is 1.29.......he only went 5 innings giving up 4 runs and 8 hits in last night's loss at Arizona.... theeagleman5 Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 Bad news for Jeremy Hefner....looks like his recent arm problems are going to require Tommy John surgery...TheEagleman heard on the Phillies-Mets broadcast last night that Hefner has chosen to go the surgery route while ace Matt Harvey is still considering non-surgical options....if Jeremy has the surgery then he is likely done for most if not all of the 2014 season.....
