ManiacAlum
Crazy game... NDSU tied the game at the end of regulation and end of 1st OT on 3-pointers. NDSU now shooting FT's to close it out in 2nd OT.
FargoBison
Bison get the win 90-85...to run the streak to 8 straight over SDSU. Oh, and congrats on bouncing back against IUPUI.

SDSUJacks
One of the craziest things happened to help NDSU get this win..... NDSU was down 4 and shooting FT's in the closing seconds. Zastrow was on the line. He leads the Summit in FT percentage at 91%. He makes the first. He misses the second but it gets stuck btw the rim and backboard. I have never, ever seen that on a missed FT. Jump ball goes to NDSU and they hit a three-pointer. Tie the game and end up winning in 2OT after fouling out 3 SDSU players. Might need to re-write the rule book on that one. It seems that if the ball gets stuck in that situation the team should re-shoot the free throw. That's a tough way to lose a game, but of course SDSU did get 10 extra minutes to earn the win and couldn't do so.
bballmangc
They could have defended the three-pointer better too I assume

I don't know, even though it benefited my Bison, if the game was tied and the ball got stuck, I don't think SDSU would have wanted our 90% free throw shooter getting a chance to re-shoot it. It was a jump, we got the ball back and SDSU had a chance to defend us. They fouled, we hit two free throws, then they hit two free throws, and they failed in defending us again. SDSUJacks
Hey, no doubt, NDSU earned the win. They deserved it. We were up 3 w/ a free throw attempt w/ like 10 seconds to go. Because we had 3 guys foul out we had a true frosh who rarely plays in the game. He missed what would've been the dagger, NDSU hit a three to tie it. Ouch. NDSU earned it but it was just that that ball stuck in the rim was such a fluke....and it really cost us!

SDSUJacks
Tom Douple was in Brookings last night to witness 6,000 fans show up for a non-conference women's basketball game on a frigid Monday night. Fans were lined down the street at 3PM for the SDSU-USD game. Douple, interviewed later was shocked and talked about what great additions the Dakota schools are. Also talked about the addition of UND and possibly even UNO (U. Nebraska-Omaha). Said something about future of the Summit and the Dakota's. After witnessing last nights women's attendance he wondered about the attendance of the men's game and also wondered about if the same would happen if UND were brought into the league and played their rival NDSU (answer would be yes). The Big Sky made a big mistake not adding the Dakota four and the future of the Summit is in the Dakota's. Until we leave.....

Don't let the door hit you and your #232 RPI on the way out.
SDSUJacks
Is it worse to have an RPI of 232 or to lose two in a row to the team w/ an RPI of 232? Starting next year...
