MrJones
Rosado Luper Points 38 64(W) Rebounds 19(W) 13 Assists 2 3(W) TO's 4(W) 7 FG% 54.5%(W) 44.5% 3pt% 0% 35.0%(W) FT% 75.5% 88.0%(W) So Rosado gets POW. Luper has better overall stats against far better competition. IPFW beat Centenary and ORU this week and never had to battle won pretty easily. ORU beat 1 of the top teams in the league with a 19 point comeback and a loss to another top ranked teams in the league. I am personally beginning to wonder if the Summit League looks to give the award to someone other than Luper (who, based off of stats should be the winner again) due to the fact she has won so many times. Maybe I am just biased, any other input would be appreciated!
ORUTerry
Sounds like they wanted to spread the 'love' around and give the award to someone else.
MrsSmith
I think the key was that Rosado helped IPFW beat us.
Old Titan
I think the key was that Rosado helped IPFW beat us. Bingo. I fail to see the logic in not rewarding the girl who led her team to a 2-0 record, including a win over the other girl's team. Besides, Kevi doesn't need another POW award - she already knows she's good. And, so does everyone else.
