The Golden Eagles (2-0) will return to action this evening (7:05 CDT) against the host Redbirds in a match that will decide the tournament championship. Very nice win on the road against a respectable Valley opponent. Could be the start of a very good season - as wins like this can do nothing but good things for team chemistry! Illinois State was picked 7th out of the ten MVC teams, but the top two (Wichita and MSU) are nationally ranked.
