MrsSmith Posted February 26, 2009 Share Posted February 26, 2009 at the prestigious Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic last week(out of 43 teams and 215 competitors). The largest event in women’s golf, the Edwin Watts Classic featured five programs ranked in the Top 45 nationally. They were tied for 3rd after the first day, but had a bad 2nd round (303, 318, 308). The other encouraging part is that 4 of the 5 playing in SC were freshman. Of course the 5th player is senior Christy Carter.
