I would like to know who won? 11-15-08 tonight?

From NDSU's website...seems that news doesn't travel as fast in ORU's Media Relations...

TULSA, Okla.--Middle hitter Chrissy Knuth had eight of her match-high 24 kills in the fifth set to lead North Dakota State to a 25-22, 15-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-9 victory over Oral Roberts in Summit League women's volleyball Saturday, Nov. 15.

It was the 17th straight victory for North Dakota State, which improved to 22-3 overall and 16-0 in The Summit League.  NDSU became the fifth team in Summit League history to finish the double round-robin league schedule undefeated and the first since 2004 when Valparaiso went 14-0.

Knuth, a freshman from Brooklyn Park, Minn., was errorless in 11 attacks in the final set.  She scored five of NDSU's first six points in the fifth set as the Bison jumped out to a 6-1 lead, then had three straight kills out of a Bison timeout to set up match point at 14-9, and she was in on the winning block with teammate Nicole Sheridan.

Knuth finished the night hitting a match-high .442 with only five errors in 43 attacks and two other freshmen had double-figure kills.

Setter Jennifer Lopez notched her sixth triple-double of the season with 31 assists, 16 digs and 12 kills, and middle hitter Janna Deyle had career highs of 11 kills and seven blocks.

Junior setter Mattie Johnson added 23 assists for the Bison, who outhit Oral Roberts .209 to .197.

Defensively, North Dakota State put up 12 total team blocks led by Deyle's seven, four by Sheridan, and three apiece for Lopez and Knuth.

NDSU libero Kelly Lopez had a match-high 23 digs and was one of four Bison players in double figures.  Kristen Hille made 19 digs and Brooke VandenBergh added 10.

Jackie Oliveira had 16 kills and 15 digs to lead Oral Roberts, which slipped to 20-8 overall and 12-3 in The Summit League with just its second home loss of the season.

North Dakota State will return to Tulsa next weekend as the No. 1 seed for the Summit League tournament.  NDSU will meet No. 4 seed IUPUI in the semifinals Friday, Nov. 21.  Oral Roberts will play No. 3 seed IPFW in the other semifinal.
