Bogus Smith Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 Congratulations to the Golden Eagles’ tandem of Andretti Bain and Jonah Lagat who were named the Athlete and Newcomer of the Year, respectively. In addition, Rachel Talbert of ORU was named the Athlete of the Year on the women’s side, while the Golden Eagles’ LaTanya Short was Newcomer of the Year. Both the Men's and Women's T&F teams ended up third in their respective Conference championship - the Men behind NDSU and SUU, while the women finished behind NDSU and SDSU. In both competitions the top three schools were separated from the rest of the field. Overall a very good showing by our Men's and Women's teams!! GO EAGLES!!
