Interesting comments under the article...

"Interesting"?

Try "ridiculous".

The Tulsa World's "anybody can post anything" policy is incredibly irresponsible.

That's why we don't give machine guns to monkeys.

TU fans being classy as usual.  ORU is the best in OK, Eat IT!

I don't see any connection to TU in those rants - just sounds similar to some stuff we've read before on their message board.

I just got an email saying there is no Golden Eagle Club meal before the Creighton game.  Anybody want to get together for a poster's lunch before the game?  I used to love Pepper's.  Is it still any good?  We have to do it early enough so that we can get to the game early for bobbleheads.

I'm up for it.  If not peppers, Zios is of course right there also.  We'd probably want to meet at 11am or so.  If it were to be nice weather, I'd say tailgate in the Mabee Center lot.

Oooh. Tailgate! Now that's what I'm talking about!!!

Tailgate. Tailgate. Tailgate!!!

Working on that as well.  I'm trying to figure out the official policies so we can get that info out to people.  I do know that there is a "no open flame" policy.  I'm trying to see if it is acceptable to have tents and lawn chairs.... all that type stuff.  I just want to make sure that campus staff is on board with it.  Not sure how many people would participate, but just trying to make it easy on our fans.

Tailgating sounds great!

For Oklahoma burn ban purposes, a barbeque grill is not considered an open flame.

This sounds like an insurance company dictate to me.  I say we go grab all those dead branches out of the ditches on Delaware and have a bon fire in the southwest corner of the parking lot where everybody can see us!

Yeah!!

Now hopefully the weather will cooperate.

What do you all think 10:30 or so?  enough time to relax and have fun and then get in by 1pm or so to make sure we get the fuqua bobble?
