Guest Blevins
Don't forget about the ORU Coaches Hour, tonight at 6 p.m. at Pepper's Grill at 91st & Delaware. Misti Cussen and Elisha Turek will be on from 6-6:30 and Scott Sutton will close the last half of the show. Tonight's show is on KAKC AM 1300 due to the OSU basketball game on the Buzz. Post your questions here!
ORUTerry
I won't be able to listen tonight.... I have a 6:00 business meeting. Here are some questions: Finkbeiner: 1. Are the women acclimating to the the more up-tempo style of offensive play? 2. Will we match zone and man defenses or try to use man-to-man exclusively? 3. How tough is this squad compared to last year's team? Sutton: 1. How many red-shirts are we going to issue? When will that decision be made? 2. How many recruits do we plan on signing in the early period? 3. Which player has made the most impression on you so far? 4. How do we cut down on the amount of turnovers? Is it a factor of the amount of players/different lineups we had? 5. How good of a rebounding team will we be? 6. Describe this team's mental makeup. How is the team chemistry? 7. What does the team (and coaching staff) think of the opening video used for introductions.
Guest EagleBackr
Whoa, whoa - easy there, Terry! Remember, it's only the ORU Coach's HOUR!
ORU GRAD
Listened to the coaches show and Coach Sutton mentioned only Jordan and Spicer as possible red shirts. Moses was not mentioned. Also Sutton mentioned two possibly three recruits will sign in this signing period. Said there could four but said again two or three. That seems to be the same as our Darren J. was saying. He said we will need to replace Micky and Owens and that both coaches are doing a great job on the recruiting trail.

tmh8286
Great job, Dr. C. I was unable to listen live tonight, and was sorry to miss the show - thanks for making it available to those of us that weren't able to listen.
ORUTerry
Just listened to the show.... Sutton made an interesting comment about how the "2nd" team beat the "1st" team in a 20 minute scrimmage this afternoon. The level of competition in practice has to be really beneficial to all of our players. I would argue that our second five players are more athletic and better than the starting five we had several years ago. That is a tribute to our coaching staff. He also said that Meloy will play Saturday so his finger must be better. Mentioned that Yemi is playing well and thinks he will continue to develop. Sutton said that he has really improved his perimeter game. Yemi, Marchello and Larry Owens give us a lot of versatility.... they can play wing or down low in the post
