Old Titan
Scheduling info I picked up off the Wichita message boards; maybe Blevins or MM can confirm: FRIDAY, JUNE 1 Game 1 - 1:00 p.m. #2 Arizona vs. #3 ORU Game 2 - 7:00 p.m. #1 Wichita St. vs. #4 New Orleans SATURDAY, JUNE 2 Game 3 - 1:00 p.m. losers of Game 1 and 2 Game 4 - 7:00 p.m. winners of Game 1 and 2 SUNDAY, JUNE 3 Game 5 - 1:00 p.m. winner Game 3 vs. loser Game 4 Game 6 - 7:00 p.m. winner Game 4 vs. winner Game 5 MONDAY, JUNE 4 Game 7 (if Game 4 winner loses Game 6) - 7:00 p.m. winner Game 6 vs. loser Game 6 Hope nobody has to be at work Monday, if necessary... Times like this, I'm glad I'm self-employed!
Bogus Smith
That stinks for those of us that DO have to be back to work on Monday, if those times are true. A Monday Championship game #2 definitely gives the edge to the home team if they are in the that game, given their crowd. Conversely, both teams' #1 pitcher would be available for a Monday game, if a team makes it that far.
Bogus Smith
Attached are the stats for the Arizona Wildcats. Item of note is Brad Glenn from Union HS. You might remember him as playing lights out against Jenks in the High School Football finals a couple of years ago. He had already committed to play baseball at Arizona, but was a good athlete. He's second on the team in hitting currently.
Mike Minyard
That schedule looks exactly like some other schedules I've seen with other regionals. They've ditched the three games on Saturday schedule. If we win on Friday, I don't think we'll have to worry about Monday. I'd imagine that is the correct schedule though. I'll know a lot more later on tonight. Just keep your eye on www.orugoldeneagles.com for the latest information about the regional.
