New college football season (26-27)

It is finally time to start college football, after all the chaos of the offseason.  Who do you like this year to win it all or make a run?

The Big Ten has passed up the SEC and I like Oregon to bring home the title this year.  Ohio State is another possible pick but concerned somewhat about there defense, as they lost so many players to the NFL draft.  Of course the defending champs Indiana will be in the hunt.  So it looks like the Big Ten could win 4 titles in a row.

Big road win for Coach Prime and his Buffs last night at Georgia Tech...anyone see that?? TheEagleman felt that absurd conservative play calling by GT in final 2 min cost them a victory...they had a chance to put the dagger in but played for an FG leaving CU with a chance to win....dumb football....happy for Coach Prime.

Yeah being in Colorado, I root for the Buffs and Coach Prime.  They may only win once and awhile but there games are usually exciting.  I like to watch his interviews because he goes after those media guys.  Whatever people may think of him, he is a character who brings some excitement to college football.

I cannot believe Tulsa beat Ok State again after the Cowboys had dominated them in football for something like 40 years.  OSU had 4 turnovers, which often leads to a loss.  Tulsa may beat Arkansas in a few weeks, as the Hogs really struggled today.

OSU losing at TU a disgrace....but nothing tops what we just saw at Michigan where Western Michigan got hosed out of a 12-7 victory. Clock clearly hit .00 and refs give UM one more play that was undeserved. Wolverines hit a 47 yd hail mary for the "win"....totally appalling!!!

I think TU has a good team and I think everyone in Oklahoma forgot how bad OSU was last year. That said, because I actually think TU could have a really good year, OSU losing to them might not look so bad by the end of the season. Time will tell whether OSU’s new coach has what it takes to get them on the right track.

W. Michigan coach and administration showed a lot of grace and class in accepting the official explanation of that fiasco on Saturday night in Ann Arbor....still seems fishy but hearing that the officials saw another clip where .01 seconds still showed on the clock when the long pass touched the DB out of bounds....hence a second put back on the clock and one final play allowed which won the game.....TheEagleman will also have to accept it.....embarrassing that Wolverine fans felt the need to storm the field for a one point victory over a MAC team......but so be it.....let's see how UM fares against Top Ten OU this weekend......
