Old Titan Posted April 7 Posted April 7 ORU's 15-man roster for 2026-27 (with occasional updates), assuming none of the portal-jumpers return: Connor Dow Luke Gray Chase Martin Cal Furnish Martins Kilups Mihail Gavazov^ Marko Pavlovic^ Amire Robinson^ Blake Smith^ Boden Williams† Alex Couto* † High school signee November 2025 * Medical redshirt 2025-26 ^ 2026 transfer signee Currently, Luke Gray and Connor Dow are the tallest players on the team at 6'6", no one else is listed at over 6'4". 1
Bogus Smith Posted April 7 Posted April 7 So far in the portal from ORU are the ones that were expected: Ofri Naveh Baron Smith, Jr. Jack Turner Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams I don't know that there will be any other defections from the team, which provides seven spots to fill. Interestingly, in the first 12 hours of the portal being open, 1,431 student-athletes have entered their names to change schools.
Old Titan Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 If ORU has any intention of remaining becoming even marginally relevant, they are going to have to come up with the money to buy some size. Period. 1 3

Currently, Luke Gray and Connor Dow are the tallest players on the team at 6'6", no one else is listed at over 6'4". Probably need to update this for Laymen's departure and Boden's signing in the fall. 1
Old Titan Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 4/17 - "Super Walk-On" Blake Smith added to pinned roster. 1
Old Titan Posted April 19 Author Posted April 19 4/19 - Amire Robinson, whose father Stew Robinson was a teammate of Steve Alford’s at Indiana back in the day, added to pinned roster. 1
Keenan Henderson Posted April 19 Posted April 19 With 5 spots left the Eagles need: point guard, two centers, and maybe another 6'7 forward. It would be great to see Ofri Navaeh come back and fill that forward spot.

It's remotely possible that Naveh would return, but not expected. 3
ORob2 Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Martins Killups and Luke Gray have “officially” announced their intention to stick around. Unofficially, Connor Dow and Chase Martin have been reposting ORUMBB signees over the last week. No surprises here. 4 2

The practice of making an announcement with the main point being that “nothing had changed” does seem strange to this “old timer”. But, these are perilous times in collegiate athletics. 1 1
ORob2 Posted April 20 Posted April 20 It’s very prodigal son seeming to me. The ones that do it the “right way” also want graphics made for them and some hype around their name in and around the program/fan base is my best guess. 1
Keenan Henderson Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I am glad we have a core group of guys returning that the Eagles can build around. They know the system and will help with the locker room/chemistry on the court. I think guys like Furnish, Martin, and even Sparks can improve. Then we know what ORU has in Gray, Chase, and Connor: older leaders that figured out their roles as last season went on. I feel a small bud of hope returning.
Old Titan Posted April 21 Author Posted April 21 4/22 - Last-minute portal entrant Lane Sparks removed from roster. Lane, we hardly knew ye…
2014Grad Posted April 21 Posted April 21 We need minimum 3 more recruits to start OVER this current roster to be able to resemble a competitive team; I'm still hopeful .
theeagleman5 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 TheEagleman is not hopeful.......but will remain open minded for the upcoming season.....
Keenan Henderson Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Boden Williams did make it offical today and leaves as the all time assist leader at his high school. He is the point guard of the future but will Boden stay once Dow finishes next season? That will be the key for the Eagles to retain him.
