WSU advances to the championship game against South Florida, whom they split with in the regular season. I’d like to see Mills get back to the tournament, if only for some renewed coverage of the 2021 Sweet 16 run.

Mills is a great motivator and big-game coach; I hope he gets to show that tomorrow AND  be a reminder that sometimes you gotta spend a bit to get/keep good coaches!

We still couldn't have afforded to pay Paul what he was wanting or worth at that stage in his career to keep him at ORU.  Plus, WSU loaded up on NIL money that assured Paul he would be able to recruit top-tier players.  It's an unfortunate reality that we live in.

Interesting that there was only one team from The American and Missouri Valley (and the Summit League for that matter  ) while there were three out of the WCC.

Some interesting NIT matchups today and if Tulsa and WSU win they would face up again with a trip to Indianapolis on the line.  I would rather see Tulsa and Ok State win and then they would have to play each other in Tulsa.  OK State is down some guys, so it may be a tough matchup for the Cowboys tonight versus Paul Mills.
