We get one game with the Hogs; Missouri State gets a home/home with Arkansas.

I hope we get a better chance at them in March.

Looks like we have Northern Colorado at home the weekend of March 20-22 since they are in Fayetteville during the mid-week before.

A few more teams have released their 2026 schedules and reported games with ORU, which provides the opportunity to piece together about 70% of the Golden Eagle non-conference schedule.  I would still expect weekend home series (likely against northern opponents) on 2/13-15 and 2/20-22 and a couple more mid-week games (3/24 and 5/12).

NDSU is the only Summit school to release their schedule, and those dates are listed below.

Notes: Interesting that ORU and Wichita State are not scheduled to play in 2026 for the first time in MANY years. It is disappointing to lose that regional rivalry. It appears that Wichita was pushing back from an annual home-and-home series, as the Shockers had not been to Tulsa since 2023, and that was on a two-for-one arrangement. The last two years, ORU played in Wichita but did not receive a home game in return.

ORU gets the "pleasure" of playing in Fargo for the Bizon's home opener in late March. Expect some odd bounces off of the frozen tundra along with difficulty tracking fly balls in the snow. Seriously, there's at least a 50% chance that the series gets moved further south (Omaha?) or the league office wisely switches the March series to Tulsa and the April series to Fargo.

Northern Colorado is playing mid-week games in Fayetteville on 3/17 & 3/18, so I would expect to see the Bears in Tulsa for the 3/13 - 3/15 weekend series.

Also, South Dakota State is playing mid-week games at Stillwater on 3/17 & 3/18 as well, so I would expect to see the Jacks in Chapman Park for the 3/20-3/22 weekend series.

The DBU games are odd to me.  Air Force is in town at the same time.  Rather than our usual 3 game weekend series, the Patriots are playing ORU and Air Force every other day for four days.  Will we try to pick up a game with another area team on Friday?  TCU, UTA and Abilene Christian are booked.  Tarleton State hasn't announced their schedule so that could be a possibility for a Friday or Sunday game?  It is 1:40 drive to Tarleton from DBU and 5:30 drive back to 7777 S Lewis.

Any idea when the 2026 scheduled will be announced?  Will there be any home games the weekend of the Diamond Dinner (February 6)?

ORU will play Air Force on February 27th in Dallas (at DBU).  I thought that this might be the case, but had to wait until Air Force released their schedule.

ORU will also play Air Force on March 25th in Oklahoma as AFA is on their way to a weekend series at Tarleton State.  The AFA schedule says that the game is in Enid, OK, so I don't know if it is another neutral site game, or if AFA doesn't know where ORU is located!

And more schedule news - three games with Oklahoma State this season!  Home and home, plus a May 12 neutral site game at ONEOK Field in downtown Tulsa.  I've updated the schedule within my earlier post in this thread.

The game is due to Vance Air Force base being located in Enid.  It was a "tip of the hat" move by ORU to allow AFA to play in front of other members of the Force than in Colorado Springs.  This will be like a home game for Air Force as the crowd will be overwhelmingly for AFA.

The season doesn't start until the 13th, so no official game that weekend.  However, there may be an Alumni game if they can get enough of the old-timers in town to take the field.

And, we now know that Missouri Valley member Southern Illinois will be in Tulsa for the christening of the new all-turf Chapman Park in a weekend series on February 13-15. Bring on the Salukis!

The schedule is coming along just fine - even without an offical news release by the University.

What would we do without the message board??  😀

Finally, ORU will be on the road for the February 20-22 weekend series at Abilene Christian.

With this, we now have 26 non-conference games (12 home, 12 away, 2 neutral - both with Air Force).  Outside of an odd additional mid-week game, I think this is likely the full non-conference schedule.  Add in thirty Summit League games (home and home series with all five other Summit opponents), and we have a 56-game schedule. While the Summit League schedule has not been officially released, I think what I've included in the schedule post above is probably pretty close.

Consider the schedule released!😂

@Otis 83 can represent us at Abilene.  Nothing good happens west of Fort Worth. 🤣

Also, just as the message board has provided us with our 2026 Baseball schedule, the athletic department is sending out the renewal for tickets to Chapman Park.  Asking for renewals on seats when we don't even know who we are going to be playing??  Really?? smh

Thanks everyone for the 411.  Greatly appreciated.  On a side note I would love to see us schedule some games in the Northeast/Mid Atlantic, perhaps a home/away with someone like WVU/Pitt/the OSU, even UC who now is making the treck to our house for midweek games.

And I will.  The best man in our wedding lives in Abilene and will gladly host me for the weekend.  We will enjoy a fine steak at Perini's at some point.  Perini's alone invalidates your statement about things west of Fort Worth.  Big Bend National Park, Terlingua and Cap Rock Canyon State Park further dispute your unfounded allegation. 🤣

TrueBlue 82 thank you for this!  From the limited work that I do on the TV schedule, I know it isn't a simple task scouring opponents' websites looking for information.  I appreciate it very much.  You sir, are a fine and upstanding member of our community.

Hear, hear on the schedule work of @TrueBlue82. May have to join you @Otis 83 for a steak at Perini's. Possible Abilene trip in store in the spring. Now I've got a target date. 🙂

Regarding HOF weekend and an alumni baseball game, gitterdone! Or, I'll have to get our 74-75 All School Intramural Softball Team to take the field. Will get @dbl78 out of retirement to play first base.

The schedule is released and the teams are pretty much already known due to @TrueBlue82's stellar investigative skills!  We find that there are a couple of new wrinkles to this year's schedule

https://oruathletics.com/news/2025/12/11/baseball-orubase-announces-2026-schedule.aspx

1.  ORU plays OSU in Stillwater, Chapman Park, AND at ONEOK Field in downtown Tulsa.  It's the first time that OSU and ORU have played downtown in a number of years.  Hope that the two teams can draw a decent crowd to Driller Stadium.

2.  The last home game for the Golden Eagles is on Mother's Day - May 10 - which will be Senior Day for those leaving the team.

Gotta love a media relations department that doesn't do their homework....

"May 5 vs. Cincinnati: ORU welcomes Cincinnati for the programs' first-ever meeting. The Bearcats finished 33-26 in 2025 and advanced to the Knoxville Regional."

Someone needs to know that we played Cincy on May 6 last year as the programs' first ever meeting.  As Shoeless Joe Jackson said in "Fields of Dreams".....  Rookies!!

The Media Relations team reads our message board.  Now the release says the following:

"May 5 vs. Cincinnati: ORU welcomes Cincinnati for the programs' second-ever meeting as the two first met in Chapman Park last season. The Bearcats finished 33-26 in 2025 and advanced to the Knoxville Regional."

Nice recovery by them! 🤣
